This course is the Core Module (Pre Requisite).
Topics covered: -

• provide advice on Workplace Health & Safety;
• manage Health & Safety hazards and risks in the workplace;
• manage workplace incidents

Any or all units may be granted Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) where appropriate evidence is provided. Workbook activities, examination of theory and practical knowledge and skills will be required

A Statement of Attainment shall be issued

An elective module must be completed before any vocational opportunities exist.
MUST complete elective module within six (6) months.

Fees will vary depending on individual module content and generally range between $875 - $1000 per participant (GST inclusive)

• manage Health & Safety in Construction Workplaces

Any or all units may be granted Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) where appropriate evidence is provided. Workbook activities, examination of theory and practical knowledge and skills will be required

A Statement of Attainment shall be issued with an assessment report which must be presented to the Division of Workplace Health & Safety within ninety (90) days of receipt with the required fee. A card will be issued which entitles the holder to be a Workplace Health & Safety Officer in a Construction Workplace as defined under the Workplace Health & Safety Act 1995

Employment as a Workplace Health & Safety Officer

$800 per participant (GST inclusive)

Three (3) days

Any or all units may be granted Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) where appropriate evidence is provided. Workbook activities, examination of theory and practical knowledge and skills will be required

A Statement of Attainment shall be issued with an assessment report which must be presented to the Division of Workplace Health & Safety within ninety (90) days of receipt with the required fee. A card will be issued which entitles the holder to be a Workplace Health & Safety Officer for Industrial Workplaces as defined under the Workplace Health & Safety Act 1995
